JMA (Jasper Merchants Association) Mission
To Support, Grow, and Encourage Merchants / Business Owners of Pickens County, Jasper Georgia. To provide knowledgeable service to help our Members stay in business and offer FREE entertainment to the Citizens of Pickens County, Jasper Georgia throughout the Year.
What JMA Does
Jasper Merchants Association (JMA) is a group that was formed in 1962 and incorporated in 2014. The JMA strives to serve our members and the community by bringing innovative ideas and fun, family-friendly events to not only downtown Jasper, but to Pickens County. Our goals are to bring FREE of CHARGE events to the people of Pickens County.
We also work to maintain and improve our beautiful Historic Downtown. We work on issues related to bringing and keeping foot traffic to our Members.
JMA is a proud Sponsor of Mountain City Mayhem, Trick or Treat on Main Street, the Night of Lights – Parade of Lights Christmas Event and occasionally other events during the year. See photos of past events on the Gallery page.
Jasper Merchants Association also assists the merchants and the community by listing available jobs on the Help Wanted Pickens County Facebook page. We have helped fill thousands of Help Wanted Positions in the North Georgia area!
The Membership Fee of $50 is due annually. Besides paying dues to join the JMA, we need your help by volunteering and/or participating in our events.
